How far will my transmitter transmit?

The included beacon according to the manufacturer’s specifications the transmitter will broadcast up to 70 meters.

The optional high power beacon will according to the manufacturer’s specifications broadcast up to 450 meters.

Where do I put this in my vehicle?

For optimum transmission range it is recommended to have the transmitter mounted as high as possible. This is why the waterproof option is very attractive; it can be mounted outside the vehicle on the roof. We have found that the transmitter can be placed on your dashboard and still get satisfactory results.

My transmitter quit working. What do I do?

Please contact us immediately at Customerservice@grabadsapp.com. We will ship you out a replacement with a pre-paid envelope to return the non-functioning unit.

Can I have more than one transmitter?

Yes you can. You can have as many as you want. If you have a fleet of vehicles or just a few we can get you all the transmitters you need. Contact us at Sales@grabadsapp.com and we can work out a plan that is right for you.

Can any phone with the Bluetooth turned on get my broadcast signal?

Only if that user has the Grab Ads App installed will they be able to get your broadcasted signal from your transmitter. If the app is not installed then they will not be able to get your ad.

Do I have to turn the transmitter on?

No. the unit will be broadcasting from the minute it leaves our facility on its way to you. When it arrives you simply find a place to put it and you are transmitting.

Subscription FAQs

What do I get when I sign up for a subscription?

You will receive a preprogrammed beacon(s), instructions for use and stickers to display on your vehicle or shop, plus a little gift from us.

Can I extend or renew my subscription?

Yes you can! Inside your account you will see a button that will say Extend / Renew. Press this button and it will bring you back to the payment page where you can choose the renewal subscription of your choice. Don’t forget to add the coupon option to save money on your subscription!

How can I cancel my subscription?

While we really hate to see you go, we do know that sometimes things don’t work out. Please contact us at Sales@grabadsapp.com. We will immediately process your request and the remaining balance of your subscription will be refunded to you based on a pro rated timeframe. We will then send you a prepaid return envelope to send the beacon back to us. When we get the beacon back we will refund you your deposit.

Can I modify my ads?

Yes absolutely! Up to 4 times a month if you’d like! If you’ve got a weekly ad that you want to display then this will work out for you. Just go into your account and you’ll see your advertisements and you can edit them from there then save the changes. However if you modify the ad more than 4 times in a month there will be a $25 processing fee.

How does the coupon work?

The coupon is an option that you as the advertiser have. If you offer Grab Ads app users an exclusive coupon we will deduct $50 from the cost of your 6 month subscription, and $100 from the cost of your 1 year subscription.

Can I pay by check?

No, we accept all major credit cards.

What if I have 50 trucks that need beacons? Do I have to buy a subscription for each truck?
